Sat Nav screen compatibility between 2005-2009?

Does anyone know if the sat nav screens between 2005-2009 are interchangeable?

I need to replace mine but havent taken it out yet to check the existing part number. There are quite a few for sale on ebay with various part numbers..

I couldnt see any previous posts that gave this answer.

Thanks. RRS 4.2 SC

Mine is a 2006 SUpercharged. It has rear screen entertainemnt fitted (not sure ir that matters)

The screen is cracked in the centre and it has a few dead spots.

I thought it might be easier to buy a used screen than replace the glass. RRS 4.2 SC

The front piece of glass/screen is not damaged, it’s the layer behind. I asume this is also serviceable..

I will order one off ebay and see how it goes..

How difficult can it be ... RRS 4.2 SC

I found a russian website to get the correct part number of the Nav screen for my car from here using my VIN number:-

http://cat.lrparts.ru/

Using this part number, i managed to find the correct part for sale on ebay from Kent4x4breakers..
The part number for my VIN was YIE500081PVJ, it cost me £99.99.

I installed it yesterday and i now have a fully functioning sat nav screen... Thumbs Up

The only problem is i lost a few trim clips into the nether regions of the cockpit...

I did notice a few unused FAKRA connections on the back of the Nav screen.. i now need to find out what these will allow me to do.. RRS 4.2 SC
