Been speaking to a few Bmw guys i know from past dealings today.. the one is seeing how quick he can get me a coupe 335d SE for from Sytners, and the other one i popped into see this arvo, they said well basically,

"if you REALLY want one, you can take our demo on launch day, we've got plenty of speculative enquiries on the 335d coupe to run us into the new year on orders, so we don't really need to run a demo from launch, so if you want it, its yours." or alternative if spec/price don't take fancy, then let us know and we will try and get you one this side of xmas.

They are running a 335i and a 325i coupe as well as demos, so said we will simply reorder another demo and have it arrive as priority as its for them.

Spec of the 335d coupe SE they have is:
Standard car,
plus Sat Nav pro, bluetooth, 18" 5 spokes (look like M6 alloys)
Sparkling graphite with red leather and black interior trims.. Xenons, Auto box standard.

They say can add sun protecion glass, tracker and change alloys to the 19" star spokes (which will look the best imho plus am guessing it will loose the runflats but he said he wasn't sure about this anymore as the 19" runflats were due for general release).

335d SE has sports suspension, and seats standard, so just need to add bodykit at £2k, so basically can get this car up to FULL dream spec, however the only thing its missing is a logic 7 system/Harmon Kardon, which i said they should have put in it to be honest, as then it would be seen to be FULLY Loaded..

Price of current car = just shy of £40k,
No discount available, but if i take it, or any of our clients for that matter, they can have discounts on the fit of all the dealer options above to make it look the mutts.. hmm.. tempting.. but i may just order my own and get the spec/colour scheme i want as then its to your own personal choice, but the grey with red leather does look nice to be fair. (well from the pics anyway..)

335d sport saloons are on general release now, can be had in about 8 weeks or so from spec to delivery btw..

They haven't got an M Tech kit for it yet.. its a nice sport kit though, back page of the brochure has a picture of it, includes basically front splitter fins, side sweeping skirts, and rear valance, and a nice spoiler on the boot lid, scoop fin style..

Am guessing with the standard sport seats, sports suspension, and bodykit, will be very close to what the sport will be anyway.. not due till jan ish time for the actual coupe sport version. The auto box has paddle shifted on the steering wheel too, which is good.. looks like quite a nice car, been looking through brochure just now.. the 335d has the same 80mm twin exhausts too same as the 335i...0-60 in 6.1, with 580nm of torque, 286bhp.. should be ample i guess! with 37.7mpg combined cycle.. probably more like 32-34mpg but still better then the 15mpg im used to now..

I like the Sparkling Graphite... and I bet with red it will look "phat" Wink The old M3 combo of Steel Grey and Red looked great too. I think the coupe looks gorgeous.... but the saloon/touring would be more suitable for me as long as I can handle the loss in space from the RRS.
