It isn’t just you in Britain. We have RRS taillight thieves out here in San Diego as well. I just picked up a 2010 RRS at auction. Somebody stole the taillights, the nav screen, the start button, the headlight switch, the radio controls, the window motors, one of the door controller modules and the gear shift surround with the parking brake and terrain control. Also too all four window switches and the tweeters! After the theft the coated everything with a fire extinguisher to cover their finger prints. Parts are on order, can’t wait to get it on the road.
