Hi, I have bought a second hand set of Range Rover Sport Valeo tail lights. I am planning to sell these on but since I don't actually own a range rover I have no way of testing these. I was hoping that someone might know what the pin outs on the wiring loom connector are so that I can test these with a spate power supply. Is anybody able to help?

Begs the questions ,
why would you buy lights for a car you don’t have ?
And why not ask the person you bought them from to test them

What colours do you have.

R/H
Indicator: Green /White
Fog Lamp: Red/Yellow
Brake Light: Green/Purple
Tail Light: Red/Orange
Reverse Light: Green/Brown

L/H
Indicator: Green/Red
Fog Lamp: Red/Yellow
Brake Light: Green/Purple
Tail Light: Red/Black
Reverse Light: Green/Brown

As Devon said still begs the question why would you buy lights for a vehicle you don't have.

They are usually plain colour on the lights though

Thinking about it I think you are right, never read original post correctly, all the lamp unit wires are black if I remember right. Assuming the pin number on the harness plug correspond to the number on the lamp plug they are:

No. 1 Brake Light
No. 2 Reverse Light
No. 3 Indicator
No. 4 Rear Lamp
No. 5 Earth
No. 6 Fog Lamp

Maybe some poor soul has woken up to their tail lights missing

I can't see a thief testing the lights.

But someone buying them might.

Why didn’t the original op test them before buying
It’s a pretty sore subject to me , as I’ve said in a previous post .

Thanks for the help guys. I actually bought a set from the tip very cheaply. They were in a Glohh GL3 dynamic box so I assume someone upgraded, put the originals back in the box and took them to the tip. After testing they will be put up for sale.
