Glohh GL5-i rear lights

Been waiting ages to get a look at these and I registered on the preorder list months ago and they arrived today 😀

I previously fitted the my18 rear lights which I liked but I was always missing the sweeping indicator and was not such a fan of the clear lens

Here’s a couple of quick pics and video of the sweep, I will take some with the start up light show later it’s amazing 😀 brake lights are super bright and the reverse also which is in the section at the bottom of the unit

Fully plug and play took me 10 mins on My17 but they are compatible to all earlier models and quality feel is like oem

Nice but I would need steel balls to put them on a car under warranty!

Blimey!! They must sell a lot of these for the company to still be running! I know they made a good few for the old RRS and have seen a few on the road!

I notice in the small print of the order that they are not CE Approved they are only ECE COMPLIANT, there is a big difference at MOT time and might be considered an unapproved modification by your insurance company.

I had that issue with an LED lighting set on my Defender 7 years ago when an MOT tester failed the car for non-CE approved tail/brake lights and indicator lights - and the CE logo also has to be visible without dismantling the units. The garage had to change the lights back to Approved standard units for the MOT and then put the LED units back afterward...... until we could find some CE Approved with visible markings which, of course were somewhat more expensive to buy but unlike with the OEM units I haven’t had to change a lamp since when I was having to replace the brake light units (notbjust a lamp but a complete unit as they don’t come any other way to keep them waterproof) sometimes twice a year at £29 a unit....... Compliant and Approved are different things so take care. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I would have changed my MOT tester not the bulb/light Laughing

It would be only the most anal MOT testers to fail on such a small detail.

These lights look fantastic, i have a set of their old light and they were great, very good quality 2012 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 3.0 SDV6

I'm interested in a set for my L320 (2010-2013). Does anyone know, are they as simple to install as unscrewing a few screws, unplugging a connector, re-connecting and putting the screws back? That's about the limit of my auto-electrical skills. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

They are very easy to install. I still have a set of GL-3 taillights, 2 screws and 2 pins. I mean thieves can take your lights off while its locked Shocked 2012 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 3.0 SDV6
