Pics and questions

Firstly, why do cars always look at their best just before sunset; gratuitous pic before I ask some questions - it wasn’t even clean!

It looks like a pound shop air freshener tacked onto the side of my mirror. Anyone know what it is??

Also, had a text today to say my diesel exhaust fluid was low - looked on the car menu and it said 16300 miles till top up. Does it even go that long? Are ad blue top ups not free with service pack?

What does it look like from the other side of the screen? Do you have lane departure or road sign recognition as that could be the camera for either or both of them 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

If you have them you can enable/disable from the vehicle set up menu in the dash.

Looked again at the photo and see what looks like 2 units, one right next to the mirror stem and then something to the right of it. I wonder if it might be a toll transponder for a bridge or tunnel either here or on the Continent for quick transit through payages on the Autoroutes? When I enlarge the photo the one next to the mirror stalk looks like it might be the ‘homelink’ transponder to open garage doors and remote control gates.
Is the car 2nd hand? A look at the spec on Topix will tell you if it has Homelink fitted as that is a factory fitted option. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
