United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

Just another thought - I would suggest that this must be a new body design (whatever model it is) otherwise why draw attention to it by covering it in the "camouflage"? Robin

The car that you filmed looks quite a lot like the one in this video - said to be the next generation Evoque on test at the Nurburgring. - Lyonhead, does your app tell you what drivetrain this one has (looks like VA67CSY)? By the way, what is the app - it looks very useful?

Hi PIG88,
I’ve just checked out the pictured vehicle you’ve posted and my app states,

VA67 CSY

Land Rover
White
2000cc
Estate
Hybrid Electric
19/01/2018

The app I use is a free app called MyCarCheck

Really handy if you like to find out about vehicles, it can give you MOT history with reasons for failure if it has failed anytime and whether the car is currently taxed or not and that comes absolutely free.

A further in depth history can be found for a price but I never use that.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, Lyonhead. I’ve just downloaded it from the App Store - looks great - more info than on the DVLA site!

So - looks like a hybrid Evoque is not far off . . . .

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

They need one pdq, diesels can be used for PHEVs but less popular also a bit pointless as PHEVs are not meant to be long distance cruisers which is where a diesel excels. Another problem with using a diesel would be the dreaded oil dilution - I find that my petrol PHEV also engages the petrol engine for very short periods if I am not careful with the right foot - not great for either engine if it doesn’t get warmed up properly before being shut down, also depending on the control settings my petrol engine will engage at high speed which from cold to be doing 3000 rpm cannot be good for engine longevity. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
