Hi i attempted to re calibrate my suspension height as my 56 reg sport was leaning slightly
My brother in law has a snap on diagnostic tool so attempted it earlier today
After calibration it says the heights are to far out after re entering the measurements even know it looked perfect
Do you measure from centre of wheel to bottom of wherl arch or from centre of wheel to top of arch
We have given up now for tonight and ended up with the red suspension fault light and a error code c1a00
Does anyone know correct heights for front and rear?

Centre of wheel hub to underside of the arch. The heights are 462mm front, 463mm rear (although no doubt 460mm is used more often than not as it's an easy round number).

The error code is incomplete. There should be two more digits at the end which will specify the exact error. Likely the missing numbers are 54 (C1A0054) which is a calibration error (or the system is in manufacturing or tight tolerance mode - did you change these when trying to calibrate?)

One thing to bear in mind is that the calibration figures stored in the memory are not dimensions in mm, they are just position values for the individual height sensors when installed. You could/will have 4 very different readings with each varying from the others by 10, 20 or even 30. Return the values to the original ones and calibrate by just adding / subtracting from those values. So if you need to increase the height of the front right by 10mm, just add 10 to the front right value.

Be careful, however, as it is entirely possible to calibrate yourself in to a hole. If the system thinks it's cross axled (if the calibration is incorrect this can happen - ask me how I know), it'll throw a red light and drop to the bump stops. This is intended to make you stop because the system can't figure out what the wheels are doing. A single corner error will throw a light but still sit correctly as the system will assume a faulty sensor.

To be honest, it's usually not worth chasing small differences in ride height. The system has a tolerance built in and if your annoying "lean" is within that value, you'll struggle to sort it anyway. My old TDV8 always had the front right sitting 10mm lower than the front left. I tried various changes to values (see above) and ended up with the cross axle error and on the bump stops (on a dual carriageway at 70mph...). In the end, I just gave up trying to get it spot on level. Keeping the wheel alignment right would be a better use of resources. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

You are correct i seem to of missed the 54 off of the error codes
From looking online i was seeing figures of 493mm front and 483 rears everywhere but wanted to check, so it’s actually much less than this
I will try again this evening and see how it goes
Currently the red suspension light is on so wishing I didn’t attempt it 🙈

493mm & 483mm are for the 2007 on Fullfat Range Rover not the Sport.

Do you just start the whole calibration process again
Currently it’s sitting pretty high so my initial figures are going to be way out but aslong as the figures entered after are within the scope of your figures above will it sort its self out?

My 2010 sport nearside rear sits approx 10-15mm lower than the offside,would it be worth me getting a IIDTOOL?,or am I in tolerance? Thanks

Just managed somehow to get it back to how it was
The rear right wheel is measuring 15mm higher than the rest but looks pretty much how it was before and drives fine
Would it be ok like this?

if i remember correctly tight tolerance ensures that all wheels are within 10mm, unsure what the tolerance is for standard setting.
