What you have sounds about right, the slots are for other markets where warning triangles, first aid kits, boxes of spare lamps are required. There should be a lot of empty slots on a UK spec car. You should also have a folding wedge for use when jacking up the car and you don’t mention that. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Picture from a previous post, but maybe from pre-facelift as not showing mis-fuel tool, but in a Sport you may not have it all, not sure who originally posted, may have to find the original to enlarge picture or look in my gallery.

Thanks for sharing that. Why a scissor jack and a bottle jack?

I think the bottle jack was a option, I imagine the original intention of the picture was to show what all the cut outs were for, I also think that the Disco may have had more of the items include originally for what ever reason, although my car does have the additional jack for what use it is as it is still only a screw jack not hydraulic.

The Disco has 7 seats and no under-boot tool storage. Disco stuff is stored in the boot side panels.

Some Discos had it under the floor as well, as they used the same polystyrene storage moulding, as I wouldn't think all Disco's were 7 seaters surely.

In the UK the discos that had them under the boot floor were the coil sprung 5 seaters which IIRC were the base models with no Rock Crawl mode in the TR. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
