If the Velar is beaten by a shed in the looks department, I'd hate to see what beats the RRS! Shocked 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yup. Velar is beaten by a shed and RRS is beaten by Velar. I’m not gong near my RRS again!

Separately (clearly doesn’t apply to people on this thread so far), I find it funny when people look down on Velar saying “it’s an F-Pace underneath” while they can’t stop fawning over RRS1 which has probably more in common with Disco than Velar has with F-Pace. Yet many think RRS1 is far superior to Disco! Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Indeed. I wonder what could Disco 5 be compared to if Velar is comparable to a shed. I find D5 properly ugly Laughing Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I was really impressed with the velar, much better ride quality and handling than my old sport. Lots of boot space and looks very sharp.

The Velar is a fantastic car just too over priced. Now with plenty of discounts on offer you can finally see plenty on the roads!

I'm on my last two weeks with my First Edition Velar. It's a wonderful car -- great ride, handling and the P380 makes it quick and agile. It gets a fair amount of compliments, stares and I've even caught people taking photos of it. The design is good for those that can recognize good design. But I ordered the Sport SVR because the facelift looked better than I expected, and I realized that I really prefer V8's and riding up higher like in my old L320 Sport. I also prefer the increased room in the back of the Sport. Otherwise I'd keep it. I was going to hold out for the next generation Sport but life is too short! Will keep the 2018 SVR until a couple model years into the next version depending how that one turns out. 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR – Bosphorus Grey
