Extended Warranty Claim Limit -£3k per claim?!

Has it always been that low? Pretty surprised to see that having just read my warranty extension documents.

Pretty sad; frankly means an engine etc can’t be guaranteed as covered.

What does Porsche and the like offer? 2022 P440e AB

Isn't it the Select Extended Warranty that has the £3k claim limit, the Extended Warranty is which covers a claim up to the value of the vehicle, unless of course they have now changed it.

Extended Warranty includes: – Cover for vehicles up to ten years/100,000 miles at time of purchase. – Mechanical and Electrical Breakdown Warranty. – Unlimited claim liability – up to the purchase price of the vehicle in the aggregate. – Cover for Consequential Failure. – Unlimited mileage cover. – MOT Insurance.

Select Extended Warranty includes: – Cover for vehicles of any age up to 100,000 miles. – Mechanical and Electrical Breakdown Warranty. – £3,000 individual claim limit including VAT – up to the purchase price of the vehicle in the aggregate. – Up to 25,000 miles per annum from mileage at purchase. – MOT Insurance.

Cheers
Col

I had the extended warranty and it did cover the crank, and I did ask if it was the warranty company or LR good will,

or maybe someone else felt sorry for me? 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

Maybe?, but I very much doubt the warranty company (which I believe is third party even tho branded as LR) would benefit out of my purchase of the velar, so why would they fork out the best part of £15-20k just so the dealer / LR could make some profit ? If I had my cynical head on then maybe, but ! 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

My bad. I though the claim limit was on both polices. It’s not.
