Could any one tell me what happens if I put 20" wheels on my L494 Dynamic ,i.e. Does it alter the speedo.Thank you

Not if you put the right profile tyres on the wheels. Iirc you can put wheel between 19 and 22” on so long as you use the profile as given in the plate in the door jam. Car is designed for them 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I run 285/50 R20 which are slightly larger However no scrapes. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Extra thin wheels used as a temporary replacement on gettting a puncture, so called because they are about half the width of the usual tyre. 185 is very thin.

Watch out for the offset. I tried to fit my 20” wheels from the L320, that have a 49 offset, to the L494 with 20” Brembos and the wheel weights rubbed on the brake calipers slightly. Concerned about insurance issues and warranty so put the original 21” with 53 offset back on. Wanted to use the 20” with 255/55 profile winter tyres which would not alter the speedometer readings

So could I put style 520 split five on my L494 Dynamic with brembos thanks guys

Sorry I gave a bit of a bum steer this morning, as the offset is the other way around.

L320 20" V spoke wheels is 53 offset and the L494 21" 507 wheels have a 49 offset, you would have thought that 4mm would not make all that difference, but just a bit too tight against the Brembo 20" callipers . I could have fitted 5mm spacers but then this would have pushed it with the studs, hence the backing off, because of insurance and warranty.

From what I have found the 20" 520 wheels have a 47 offset (check on the inside of the wheels as per photo and you will see the offset), and are only 8.5" wide and are original equipment on the L494, but you will still need to check the clearance against the callipers, maybe landrover can help.
