New brakes

My car went for its MoT and an advisory was for worn disks and pads. A quote for genuine LR brake parts was £1300 plus fitting! Gulp! I went for Britpart disks with Pagid pads in the end with an all up price of about £500 inc. fitting.

I’m not too sure about the quality of Britpart but the car seems to pull up so much shaper than the LR ones...anyone else use Britpart parts?

I used Eurocarparts when they had one of their offers on. Rear discs, pads and calipers, just under £500 (Pagid). Steve.

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Just ordered from Eurocarparts (30/4) rear Pagid Pads, TRW discs, and wear sensors for my MY2014 which came in at £335. but great timing as they had an end of month offer which was nearly 50% off. Total cost £175.

Therefore would suggest signing up to eurocarparts newsletter and wait for the offers/discounts to roll in Smile

I got grooved front discs (4-pot brembo type) & kevlar pads for £190 delivered from https://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk - great service and kit from a company that specialises in stopping rally & race cars. Sensor was about £17 from LR parts place. Fitted it all myself, took about an hour all in.

c60k miles and I should probably replace them at some point in the near future, though still working fine. Not bad seeing as I love late braking and do quite a bit of towing.

Even at full retail prices, that's still double what I make it... Confused

I was definitely quoted £1300 but can’t remember now whether that included fitting. The car was having a service too so perhaps that was the total price for the job!

I’ll put that one down to age-related memory loss.
