Drive to Reverse to Drive
Hi, from drive to reverse, sometimes I can do it in one single shift upward and it can go from D to R. But sometimes it will just stop at N. But from R to D one single shift will always do. Did I miss out something or it is meant to give two upward push to go from D to R?

This does my head in , I think it's when I'm in a rush , which is nearly always and I move the stick slightly before depressing the trigger .
