If you are lucky it might just be one of the rubber seals that the washer pumps or low level sensor fit into.

There are a couple of posts on here regarding the removal of the washer bottle,, one mentions removing the front bumper but one guy managed by taking out the front fog light, but it was quite tricky. Do a search for the topic 2010 RRS, TDV8

Easy to access with front bumper removal, not actually that difficult. No idea how hard it would be removing just the headlight 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

with just the fog light out it would be really tricky to get the bolts out that hold it in but you would need to undo the bolts that hold the bumper on at the bottom to get it out and that is the hardest part to taking off a front bumper to be honest as they will be rusted in or at least very hard to release |

According to the workshop manual, to access the pumps only remove wheel arch liner, to remove bottle have to remove front bumper.

Thanks chaps, I’ve had a look at some of the previous threads and I’ve now seen what I need to do. I’ll remove the LH inner arch liner to see if it’s a seal on the pumps and or filler neck. If it is, great I’ll fix it, if not and it’s a split in the bottle I’ll put it back together and order a new bottle. Probably no point in trying to fix a split. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Just to wrap this up, I had chance today to detach the front of the arch liner and I found one of the pipes had split at the connection to a pump. Cheap fix, cut the end of the pipe off and reattached.

Nice! It's always satisfying when it turns out to be cheap and easy like that. Feel like you got one over on the money eating beast!!! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
