After a bit of a break away from the site due to holidays and work, i've finally pulled the trigger!

While in England, a mate within the trade who had been keeping an eye on the auctions for me sent me some photos...

Brief was simple, a 2008/2009 RRS Sport HSE, with Black Leather, Silver Dash Trims, Side Steps and as much spec as possible with under the 100k mark

After looking at numerous car's, we agreed on one, which came in within budget (sort of...)

So its a 2008 Black TDV8, with Black Leather and Silver Dash Trims

89k with plenty of service history (last bill was eye watering as the ARC bar was replaced )

Side steps and Facelift 20's on the exterior

On the inside, Sunroof and Fridge, 2 bonuses that were on the wish list along with a Heated Front screen (unusual/rare?)

However, as its an RRS, there are a few niggles...

Biggest is a judder under braking, very bad from 50mph down to 30mph, dispite the fact Front Pads & Discs were changed along with a Caliper

Front PDC Inactive fault, however there is a Front PDC sensor that is damaged/chipped, so i'm assuming its that

Requires a Wheel allignment (no big deal)

And the worlds most annoying squeak/rattle from the rear, worse with parcel shelf/tonneau cover fully extended!

Going for a service at the local garage next month, so far i've done around 1k in it, and I only got it at the end of March

Around 25mpg too! Better than my V10 M5's 19.....

Let's just hope it plays nice.....

Heated front screen is standard.

The TDV8 is an excellent choice. I miss mine.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
