Driving back from 10 days hols noticed I.m getting Black smoke under load. Plugged in my gap tool and got the following


I'm thinking Turbo actuator sticking, maff clogged/knakered , or split hose am I on the right track as the EGR is in the bin

Think I see a pattern here

Im in the same situation and the first thing im going to check tomorrow is the Intercooler Hose for and cracks / tears etc.

Hopefuly £35 will get it fixed.

Split hose would be the first check. Then turbo actuator. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Well had a look today and there's a split in the top hose. Is it worth replacing all 3 if so is there a how too as I cant see where the other 2 go.
