I decided to wash the RR yesterday.

Well today came out to use it since last parking it and washing it... It want start.

I put the key in, then hazards flash, central locking noises can be heard, dash bonging noises, dash warnings all over the place, most lights lit up. I go to turn the key and it won't even allow me to turn over.

I put a new battery on thinking that was fault. Switched the park brake switch over with a spare one. Still no luck.

Could I have damaged something while washing it? Where to check?

I just managed to get it started after disconnecting the battery for an hour. But the dash was telling me so many errors. Turned it off, went to restart and it's dead again.

I was wondering if when I washed it that water has got on something.

Hmmm... Hopefully I can get it looked at tomorrow.

Well... I think I fixed it. Noticed the negative battery connection was loose even when the clamp nut was done up tight. So I played around with it and got it tight on the battery.

It started up straight away, all warnings and lights off. Went for a drive, restarted etc. All is well again.

Sorry to hear that... Hope it's a simple cheap fix.

I took mine to an Indy today. They cleared the logged codes, made sure earth points and battery connections were good. They had it all day and used it etc. Still all ok so fingers crossed.
