United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Stornoway Grey
webuyanycar?

I thought I would just see what I could get for my RRS on the webuyanycar.com site, previously they have quoted
prices a little higher than dealerships and most are not prepared not match.
So my 2008 HST TDV8 with 75k is worth £10620!, I wish I knew that 15 mnths ago when It cost me 19K!
Is this a realistic price?
 Regards,

Danny

Hi,
WBAC gives an idea of the lowest you might get as it uses the auction results achieved, so depends how many go through the sales that day and what the fetch Question

many car dealers try to use as a p/ex price but it can be a bit hit or miss depending on supply/demand at the auctions

A friend is after an 8 speed 3.0l RRS and last night did a WBAC on a nice looking 2012 HSE with 65k fsh = £15850 Question

Thumbs Up Porsche Cayenne 2022
gone Porsche Cayenne 2020
gone Corris Grey HSE Dynamic 2016
gone Ipanema HSE lux 2010
gone Rimini HSE 2005
!!

France 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've just brought a 3.0 TDV6 facelift MY 2010 with 43 k miles HSE, FSH from a dealer for £18,100, that was last month. In fairness I had been looking for a while and was patient and this was a good price I got it for. Also a report came out just a couple of weeks ago stating that the Range Rover sport is one of the most slowest depreciating cars. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

WBAC quote price is not even reflective of the price they offer if you take your vehicle to them for physical inspection and an accurate valuation.

I would avoid them as much as possible and either sell privately or p/ex.

^^^

This. I wouldn't mind but the online valuation, no matter how honestly you answer, is useless once you turn up for a physical valuation.

Been through it once, vowed that day to scrap a car rather than go back these thieving canutes ...

You're better off playing the Autotrader game of entering your car spec/year and seeing what prices dealers & private are offering. Otherwise Parkers online gives you an indication of Trade/Private/Dealer.

Looking on Autotrader as has been suggested it does look as though WBAC are low balling it a bit although I'm still surprised
how much it has depreciated in this time considering what was mentioned about it being one of the least deprecating vehicles out there?, I paid what I thought was reasonable at the time but it would still see me -4-5K!
I bought a Focus RS new owned it for 5 yrs and lost 3k on it and it only cost me a battery some rear bushes a radiator and 2 sets of tyres, I have spent 2k on this so far so probably not a wise buy from my perspective,
Never mind you live and learn! Regards,

Danny
