Hi does anyone know why a vehicle would be delayed due to a chassis hold? Not getting much info out of my dealer or SVO, vehicle is built and should be delivered a week ago? Current

They are probably applying the so called patch to rectify the screen issues so using this as an excuse. The bad news though is that this patch does not work! The dealer applied it to my now rejected car and it did not fix the issue.

I think you are right, spoke with the dealer again yesterday and he hinted at its awaiting a software update as they have a few in the workshop that were supposed to go out to customers yesterday and are just on ramps dead with the software not even working! Current

I am still waiting for mine. Keep getting crap emails saying car is held up in QC. Same message each time

Then when I chased the dealer and JLR, I was told that it had been nowhere near QC and was going to VO for the nice bits then to QC.

I do not know who to believer.
Currently in South Africa so I don´t really care that much until I get back next week....

Customer Service ´sucks´for such a prestigious company

Will keep you all posted. Has anyone got their SVR yet ???

This whole situation is beyond a joke JLR need to communicate with customers why there is a delay, the customer service is shocking. We were told it was coming and sold one of our cars to pay for this, now were without a car at a massive inconvenience and no explanation or possible delivery date! JLR sure now how to p*ss off loyal customers!!!!

Were Lee and Jas´s SVRs SVO versions? Just seems strange as I was supposed to get mine in Jan.

I am now smelling a Rat again ??

I would´t mind but I won´t get any interest for the money they have of mine and have had since July last year

Whist I am annoyed at the lack of information I am being given, about the current status. My car was built on 15th December and yet here we are nearly 3 months later and still nowhere near receiving the vehicle…

I am happy with it. There are 3 minor issues with the leather upholstering which LR have agreed to rectify. Yes, it should have been absolutely perfect but alas, it is not something that I need to get irritated about.

Hmm a car that was built in December and still not taken delivery is very worrying. Think i would be canceling just for that.

Curious to know how a car can be specced wrong, i mean the dealer sends you the invoice with all spec and options printed clearly where does this go wrong? SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Basically the dealers order administrator, has to key or 'tick' the options you want onto the factory order system, so when they tick something wrong, it gets built wrong. So far from this same dealer i remember someone ordered the carbon interior and got a carbon engine cover instead and the worst I was told yesterday from another customer is they ordered a discovery and when it arrived all the spec and options were wrong but on an evoque, the delaer ordered an evoque!

Its more common than you think. The issue with my dealer is they ordered it wrong and were sneakily trying to order another and push me back another 3 months by blaming JLR and making out it was just 'delayed' SVO told me straight so I rejected it!!!! And sourced a new one which is arriving tomorrow.

But yes i agree a car built in December is not delayed, theres something wrong. Current
