I fitted the 13 pin electrics to my 2012 RRS about 2 years ago, and recollect that the connections were behind the bumper, and it was a bumper off job.

Thank you, Makes sense as there seemed to be a loose plug down in the bumper cavity, Oh well off with the bumper it is ! Bit annoying as the kit i got for a bargain claimed to be for a 2012 RRS obviously isn't !!!! |

You may find it’s not for a 2012....typical of cheap kits. Personally I’d always go genuine Visitor from fullfatrr.com

It is a genuine LR kit even the wiring into the 12n & 12s sockets is set in resin, What i have since discovered is there is three plugs behind bumper, i am hoping that the wiring from the sockets plugs directly into these, (2 plugs on 12n & 1 on 12s)

Took bumper off and three sockets with dummy plugs attached to bumper frame, The loom i had was the type that connects inside the boot as mentioned, discarded the "vehicle end of the loom and all three plugs plugged straight in, Relief !!!!! I paid £24 for an original Landrover loom and thought it was scrap, was on the verge of calling in the "professionals" to supply and fit a 13 pin plug & loom to the tune of £260, Glad i braved it and removed the bumper.
