Choice of Diesel?

I have a 2006 Sport. Millage 130.000 Never been too concerned about the grade of diesel I use. I have noticed I am not getting the performance I would have expected when towing a caravan particularly up long gradual gradients - would using a Premium grade of diesel make a noticeable difference? Andrew Kennedy

Have you run any of the diesel additives through it recently? I'd try that 1st. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

Andrew, 2T (two stroke) oil is the best additive for diesel, I use 1/2 l on 96 l tank. have been using it for the past 100K km.

you will feel the difference in 20~30 km. if you do let me know what you think.

Thumbs Up

I notice the difference between budget and premium diesel on my tdv8, but don't need the extra performance so it usually gets budget. Have you considered a remap?
