It amazes me when something like this happens! Paul nice story and have fun! I just hope I'm never re-united with some of my previous cars - or girlfriends! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The coincidence was amazing. I had often thought about my old bike, but never done anything about finding it. It was pure chance that I sent the email at the same time that the owner's club found out about the owner's death.

I guess it was just meant to be

They certainly seemed very happy to be selling it back to me and I suspect you're right.
It was almost as if they felt they were returning it to its original home after having on loan for so long.
I think my daughter has already got her eye on it for when I'm no longer around

No wise cracks Paul. I have a customized Road King and a KTM 450 SX the later being a right monster, scares me, brown trouser time, but fun.

Ps bet you have had to pay more for the old girl than when you sold her!!

I did have to pay more, but probably not as much more as you would have thought, given 20+ years of "classic" status appreciation.

I'm very happy with what I'm paying

I used to have a CCM some years ago, which is a similar sort of machine I guess, although probably not as quick or scary as the KTM

Didn't Ewan McGregor and that other bloke look at doing their round the world trip on KTMs before settling on the Beemers?
