I knew the Discovery was due to be built in Slovakia so is possible that P400e will be built at several places, including China, but will also be built at Solihull - unlike the E-Pace which is to be only built abroad. 

Received the following from my dealer

"Update: Range Rover & Range Rover Sport PHEV Derivatives
Manufacturing are continuing to review the PHEV build plans which is causing some instability with build timings, orders may move back in build as a consequence. Unfortunately we are not able to accept new orders into build currently. We will update you as we get more information."

Looks like my end of March delivery may move back

BMW and Mini are having the same supply problems with Magna Steyr PHEV and EV drivetrain supply, however when I was in the dealership yesterday the Mini team were handing over their 1st Countryman PHEV which was ordered back in September, was predicted for an end of December delivery that fell back to end of January and the car turned up on a transporter last Friday! So it isn’t just LR who have supply issues. On the BMW side of the dealership I was surprised to see a load of pre-reg i3’s that they had just received I thought that BMW only built them to order 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My 400e order was accepted a couple of weeks ago - was told to expect a build date in '3 to 4 weeks'.

Was also told to expect a delivery date in July/August.

Just had an email from my local Mini dealer after hassles with my order due to BMW changing the spec for 2018 and then cancelling all orders taken for thenold model! Finally have a build date and delivery on 4th June. Car is built in Holland on the same line that makes Mini convertibles. Because of the -up by BMW I was offered my re-ordered car as a my model,year at the price agreed in Novemebrvwhen the order was placed and then BMW also agreed to pay the increased VED as the price hike takes the new price over the luxury car threshold , for the 5 years after delivery - £350 pa as well as the £1300 price hike and I have an expeditied build date “because of the inconvenience “ BMW has caused me......... one of the 2018MY new features is Apple Car Play is standard issue on all minis now. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim is adding so much live, knowledge and information to this platform and your 12th post is just a complain wich adds really nothing.

And what he notes about is very interesting especially for me as an L494 Hybrid owner. Good to read about the other Hybrid car makers and their problems and solutions / customers care.

By the way, my P400e order from November (first day once order book for MY18 opened) is delayed to production in June.
Reason unknown, but arguments are that my SVO color is the reason.

I own also a RR series one V8 since the 90ies and love it. Sound, style, everything.

But for a daily driver and new car, there are a lot of car guys out there they just interested in a bit more than only new styling, more power and the sound of another V8...

It’s not always the save the planet thinking, moreover it is openness for other options and taking the risk to be wrong.

Sure but there is a forum section called other cars where you can head over and read about Tim's experiences it does not need to be in the RRS section, thanks

And your 16th post adds again nothing to this former interesting hybrid discussions.

Listen buddy just because you have more posts doesn't mean you need to be condescending! I made a valid point and I stick to what I say irrelevant of how many posts I have made! This is a RRS forum not a Mini forum. I have rejected my RRS due to countless issues but I stayed here to learn of how others are getting on with their MY18 cars and am really not interested in what Mini are doing in a RRS forum - as I said there is another section to discuss this.
