England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Reading this just makes me not want to upgrade. There is no way I would be living with any of those issues and the vehicle would be rejected as the law allows.

I feel sorry for all the people that buy these second hand after their new owners finally get fed up and just sell without doing anything about it. 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Noticed another really really really minor thing but wonder if it's intentional or maybe related to the other software bugs.

The steering wheel is on the wrong side in the seat belt warning info graphic, seams strange given it's a UK car manufacture, would of expected them to have one of each?

Oh remembered another one too, does anyone else have their cup holder slide forward under light breaking? Only have a 500ml bottle of water in it so would expected it to cope with that.

Christ its getting worse. Censored Good work jonathana in listing all these faults as when new owners go to pick up their cars these things can be checked. Thumbs Up SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

One question on graphics - if you buy the 7 seat version does the dash info screen show seat belts fastened diagram for all 7 seats or just the 1st two rows? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Good question Tim although not sure, I think my Discovery sport did show the rear seats.

I think the may have graphics for each interior as mine does have the two tone interior. Just waiting to see what someone else shows.

Don't want to be too premature with this one as not sure how much smoke to expect from the pre heater but was just sat showing a colleague the dual screens and it first filled the car park then filled the cabin, was a significant amount of smoke!!

And now just noticed this on the drivers side speaker grill, not sure how I didn't notice it before now though.

Starting to loose faith now.

Aren't we now getting to a stage where it will be quicker and simpler to list the things that ARE working !! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

That's not a MY18 quirk (other than having a second screen), it's inherent in the LR infotainment system. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Maybe we should all contact the press or watchdog to get an explanation why JLR is becoming so sh*te. I have a few press contacts so might get the ball rolling.

***EDIT;

JLR Production now Halted Report post
***Breaking News*** Looks like none of us will get our cars since JLR have now stopped production!

.............and this folks is why JLR get away with churning out substandard cars. Basically we let them get away with it!

We make excuses for the poor build quality by saying “Oh, it has its faults but it is a fantastic car!” Well, for the money we buy these cars for it should arrive on delivery day absolutely perfect!

In the last 4 years we have rejected 1 Evoque amd 1 L494 Range Rover Sport. It was only because we had purchased from a dealership with an excellent DP that we achieved an acceptable outcome as JLR didn’t give a toss about our problems.

Guys if a car that cost the best part of £100,000 is not right then reject it. No if’s or but’s just reject!

Jim

We don't get the choice to reject in Australia, add the taxes we pay and you get a very expensive car. I think it is a pity that Land Rover almost gets it right. Plenty of brands that are equal or better in the SUV market , if I didn't want a 4WD with Low range RR would have been low on my list of preferred vehicles. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Well following tonights developments I have a much larger issue to add to the list, the car started generating significant amounts of smoke luckily it stopped once the engine stopped.

Imagine it's possibly a lose pipe or something somewhere but really not good.

Here is a video:

https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=2jN9dN8X0ok

Can someone point me in the direction for the process to reject the car?
