I got the drivers door open but the rest of the car is encapsulated in solid ice

When I flew to Montreal in January I was amazed at the snow there on the sides of the roads, it was like a concrete barrier. The taxi driver told me that they ploughed the roads after a big dump of snow in early January, it then froze hard down to -30c then it rained and now all the snow looks like glazed concrete as the rain froze to it instantly. I experienced my first ice storm as they called out there - all surfaces are at below zero temperatures and it drizzles or rains and everything is immediately coated in a thick coating of ice - heavy enough to bring down overhead power cables, I was also surprised at how many people didn’t seem to prepare their cars for the winter there, just on an evening stroll from the berth to the shops we saw loads of cars parked on the roadside total frozen up with no way to get into them as the frozen snow/ ice was so thick, but many people had sort of collapsible carport tent things that they drive their car over and pull the cover up and there is a small heater inside to keep the car from freezing up. Icing like that causes huge problems for ship and can lead to capsizing......... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The lanes are completely blocked by drifting snow and the only way to reach civilisation was to go for the fields ,

Selected full off road height ,mud n ruts and the remembering the voice of Murray at the LR experience in Dunkeld successfully negotiated my way especially the hill decent control as there was one particularly long down hill run

Car was simply awesome but was defo worth remembering the tips from the LR experience day

Well I had all 4 wheels on snow today for the first time...and had it sideways. I was on the car park at work so not so bad....You`re really conscious of the weight when it lets go! Steve.

Been out in mine for the last couple of days including going to work at 02.30 yesterday morning no issues until i provoked it the all terrains coped really well in the 6 inches of snow but then i had the various warnings ABS sensor blocked slow down or suspension will lower so put my IDD tool in and raised the suspension by 25 mm that made it better lol

Oooooo, cool. I really need to think about investing in one of these magic gadgets  Steve.

My big old girl has been superb. This was going to be a bit of a challenge though.
