I was lucky enough to have the guys at the factory put at 2017 estoril blue SVR next to a Velocity Blue 2018 SVR in their quality inspection area of the factory.. chatting with the one of the inspectors and my own view is that their is no other choice but to go fo Velocity.. the depth of colour is superb .. mine is due to deliver to me 21st March can't wait..

It was a few months ago and they didn't allow me to take photos I am afraid.

That’s a shame! My concern is that the Velocity Blue is going to be a bit too ‘in your face’ - how did it come across in person? I’m guessing you were inside so I wonder what it will look like in daylight? The press photos look amazing but the real life photos I’ve seen look like a totally different colour

In the flesh the colour is stunning,I’m glad I went for it now, hopefully it will not be as popular as carpathian grey which my last sport was as every corner I turned I see one the same Big Cry

What a coincidence - my current RRS is Carpathian Grey and I’m looking to replace with Velocity Blue! I love Carpathian Grey but do agree that it has become too common now.

How long was the wait for your car? My dealer is forecasting 6 months for an SVO colour on a HSE Dynamic.

United States 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

Here's a rainy day pic of Velocity (has to be Velocity since you can't get Estoril on a non SVR). Colour is very personal of course and there is something out there for everyone. I'd be tired of it in about 3 months though.

*edit: didn't notice the pics on page one, so this isn't adding much....

I ordered mine on Oct 4th the 1st day you could order a 18my but told my dealer I wanted a March delivery, I would say it’s at least a 12 to 16 week wait, only 11days to go now!!!

Thanks Lee - it looks great from that angle.

You're putting new Overfinch alloys on it aren't you? What did you think of the alloys that are on it now? They are the same style as the HSE Dynamic alloys but a different finish. I think it needs black alloys but the black packs are so overpriced!

Yes that’s correct I’m putting overfinch alloys on.....I had the car built with what I think are the best no cost option alloys available ,wheel upgrades are costly from lr & I don’t like the 22” upgrades on the new autobiography model,so I went for my own choice, these

Collected my new SDV8 from dealers last Friday the 16th Feb after a long wait, love the colour and improvements made with the 2018 year model changes.Sadly joy was sort lived as car broke down after only 100 miles on the clock, fortunately Landrover Assist where able to rectify Restricted performance issue. But later the same day had a problem with faulty headlamp system, and now both touch screens keep turning off for no reason. Returned to dealer for a software update which sadly has not worked so have had to leave car at dealership for further investigation!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL
