Replacement Key Fobs

So I had to replace the batteries in both key fobs. I won't describe the process here as it is simple and well documented not only here but generally on the web.

However, I thought I would post about the new fobs I got. Usually the after market type require super glue to hold them together and this can be unsightly and awkward if you then have to replace the battery like me...

So I ordered a pair of fobs from here and was shocked when they arrived, because they didn't need super glue Very Happy They clipped together and had a single small screw to lock it up.

Here are some photos which show the fobs and the clips/ screw, plus the finished article which look exactly like the originals and far better than the previous glue type:

Good luck finding these as the seller didn't even list this (to me) massive benefit, so not really sure if this was a mistake. Further the site photos don't look the same to what I received, more like the standard glue type...

Cheers

They must be the ones that Atlantic British in the US use. Their Youtube video on replacing the fob
shows them with the little screw.
The ones I got didn't have it and I just used some glue to keep them together, they also don't have the logo,
but what do you expect for £4 Laughing

Ah maybe that's it, I did get them from the US Thumbs Up

Yeah those are the ones I had before, but, didn't like the fact the glue sometimes was a little visible in the seems. But, like you say, what can you expect for 4 quid?? The ones I got now are twice that but I think worth it.
