I placed an order at the start of jan for a rrs plug-in but the dealership are saying that they are still waiting on LR to give the a build slot. Are there any other members out there who have placed an order for a plug in with a confirmed build slot as i have heard rumours on the internet that LR are having production issues with rrs's, which could explain why i am still waiting for a build date.

I am used to it, as I ordered my actual RRS Hybrid in October 2013 and received it January 2015...

So now I ordered the plug-in in November, and I am sure I dont get it before June/July

This is what has happened with the IPace too, I placed a deposit back in 2016 for a car scheduled for launch in early 2017 that became late 2017 and now it’s become “Maybe mid 2018” so I asked for my deposit back, no longer interested. I think actually the problem is that Magna Steyr who make the electric side of both LR’s PHEV’s and all of BMW’s PHEV’s and pure electric cars cannot keep up with demand - when I ordered my plug in Mini in November I was told to expect delivery late March, but when I was in the dealership recently they had that day handed over their first delivery of a Countryman PHEV and that had been ordered back in July 2017 with a delivery date of late January - it arrived at the dealership during the 1st week of January so was actually early, but there are lots of frustrated people in the UK waiting for Mini PHEVs too as they are only trickling through the production system. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

These are still being run as prototypes! I just saw one on the A40 - just a normal HSE RRS 67 reg with prototype stickers on the front back and sides....when I did a reg check it came up with a RRS 2.0e Petrol Hybrid so they must be having issues if these are still being tested out!

They are also promoting it doing dramatic stunts now too!

I was myself watching that. Don't know if i will be able to watch part two ? When he comes back down...  SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

They used a PHEV and SC for the challenge, apparently.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

My dealer still saying they are non the wiser on availability of the P400e and that Land Rover cannot provide any updates on it's release. Becoming beyond a joke now !!

They are still being tested on UK motorways labelled as Prototype vehicles so i think still a lot of work to be done.

Someone at JLR told me they were struggling with the electric only miles given which was in the region of 8-10 miles which would make the label Hybrid - pretty useless

My dealer thinks he will see a demo in July.

Its not just the PHEV, my SDV8 has gone into a holding pool as well with no clear build date.

Will see.
