Bought my 2005 RRS HSE in December from a RAC approved dealer before I took delivery they did a full engine service replaced the timing belts and put it through an MOT. Noticed a vibration in the steering at over 60 mph and what I can only describe as a rotational droning noise, so took it to my indy who put it on the ramps and has found the following.

Thought I had a claim against the dealer just it's 20 years since I've bought a car through a dealer, always bought privately but I couldn't find the car I wanted so had to get one from a dealer. If it ain't broken down it soon will

Phoned the dealer today told him about the faults found, after a trip to the garage they us he's agreed to repair all the faults at his cost goes in in 2 weeks. If it ain't broken down it soon will

Yes, good news the dealer is standing by its obligation, especially as the car was serviced and MOT’d so recently.

They do serve a purpose - for the seller, trying to shorten a buyer's legal rights.
