Engine detoxification treatment

Anyone had this EDT done on their Diesel engines ? Is it worth it ? And any recommendations for a garage near to Peterborough for this ? Cheers

Not had it done on my RRS but had it done on my 175k mile van. I've had the van from new and it's always been serviced on time and any issues sort straight away. The last few months it's felt down on power almost like it had intermittent boost issues so when it went in for the service they smoke tested it for any leaks and it was fine.
They did a full service and the EDT oil flush treatment to remove any Carbon from inside the engine.

Van came back and they said they couldn't find anything wrong but the sludge and muck that came out when EDT was done was one of the worst they had seen since getting the machine.

Power is now back if not better than it has been since new. Plus when have you checked the oil on a diesel 300 odd miles after it was serviced and seen it's clean on the dipstick!

Would recommend this treatment over the inlet carbon cleaning as it's cleaning out what causes the problem in the first place. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior
