Still not a def release date for the M3 I don't think. Will be WELL into 2007, I expect. Prob mid-50s fully loaded.... so a little bit over a loaded E46.

were told April/May 07 when i ordered in Nov 04.. fat chance.. been told end of 07 earliest, then they won't launch in winter, so spring 08..
we have three of these ordered, one for me, and two for my brother in law and his business partner, so try and get as much info as poss but everyone is always speculating to be fair..

At the motorshow i asked 4 different Bmw staff members for info about the new M3.. and each one of them gave me the same 'official' and memorised spiel.. "there is no official details/launch details available on the M3 yet, if you would like further details, i can take your name and have someone contact you? " When we blagged our way into the bmw Owners cafe area upstairs to have a free coke and biscuits on Bmw, the girl upstairs told me they really knew nothing, but to expect to see the car at a motorshow next sept.. so whats that Paris/Frankfurt for spring 08 release.. so it sound about right.. but i reckon the media machine will start summer 07.. but won't it be too late by then?

Have heard rumours of Audi releasing an RS4+ which will be mental to be fair... RS4 is quick enough in my book..

Slipping even further away then. In fairness, the further away it gets, the more likelihood there is of me having one... a few more buses to throw Mrs S under etc.... Whistle

The reason I want to change is to spend less money on fuelling the bastid thing. As much as I'd love the TDV8, I don't think it's going to save me anything on the running costs... thus more likely considering 335/535 variants Very Happy

Exactly... don't really want to wait until Jan for 335d delivery though, if that's what it's going to mean. Might be in for a 535d in that case.... trouble is of course, although it's what... 35mpg on the combined cycle, I'd be hooning it around everywhere = 25mpg again = back in same boat!! Laughing

Nissan Micra it is then... Crying or Very sad

Maybe.... like I was saying VA - I've really only realised these past few weeks how much I'm actually spending on diesel every month. I do about 2k a month at the moment, so not only am I jamming loads of miles on the car I'm also emptying my wallet at every conceivable opportunity. This is money I could be spending more wisely on lapdancers!! Laughing

You're right, Kam... not sure why I've not spotted them before Embarassed

The good thing is that BMW don't supply these on runflats like they do with the standard M Sport 18s... so not only do you get a better looking alloy, you might get some semblance of ride comfort back again! Very Happy
