New BMW alloys...

Saw these on a 535d MSport yesterday in Reigate. BMWs answer to the RS4 19s?

Looked great on the car.

Yeah they are nice.. they have been around for a little while though.. every 535d sport with upgrades has these.. like every 7 series rolling out now seems to have the 20" Y spokes..

im getting tempted to swap into a bmw again.. am seeing what allocation of 335d coupe/saloons are going to be around Jan time.. think that will be a stormer, nothing like the RS4 but you know.. at £35k ish, will save me a few pennies on the monthlies and consumption..

Vlose them? What does that mean? Laughing I was quite safe VA - that's not my pic Wink

Kam - are you sure these aren't new for MY07? I'm sure I haven't seen them before... I'm now thinking a little more seriously of jumping ship back to BMW. I can't really seriously consider paying £5-600/month on diesel for much longer or we'll be eating beans on toast every night soon... am wondering about 335d too..... are the first deliveries in Jan, Kam? It releases to market this week doesn't it?

Yes... and a Touring apparently. Mind you, they've been promising an E90 M5 Touring for a while now and no further news there.

Martin.. i CAN'T MAKE MY MIND UP!! need something which is new/fresh and not going to depreciate as soon as i drive it off the forecourt.. Merc/Bmw, can't decide CLS seems to have had its fashion fad day, and is due for a drop.. CLK etc bit bland, and bloody expensive for what you get.. E class to family'ish and S class, would feel like im driving daddys car all the time..

So Bmw.. New 3 series, coupe will hold its value for a bit, as long as Bmw don't over supply, which they are good at doing to be fair in first 6 months or so.

Yeah Shmoogle, 3 series coupes out end of this month, got the postcard invite too. however, im not going to pick up this brand new, never would.. have to pay too much for extras and get nothing in return come resale.. So im looking to get into an ex demo 335d with all the right toys, i.e. nav/bluetooth auto and then flog it for the M3 come delivery of that.

Im looking to keep my next car too short term to justify a new order.. Bmw annoy me as they never release their sport versions from the start, so SE only on the coupe for a short while, expect sports around Dec if i remember right. So looking for an ex demo vehicle from Sytner/Rydale around then after their use..

Still not a def release date for the M3 I don't think. Will be WELL into 2007, I expect. Prob mid-50s fully loaded.... so a little bit over a loaded E46.

M3 expecting around £55k with toys spec'd.. around the same as RS4 to be fair.. no official news yet or anything though.. not that my dealer keeps me informed, i harass him every now and then for details whenever i hear of anything new or see any spy shots, but usually im telling him about the new models!! is a joke.. i.e. sent him that link to the New X5 pics on the release day in Germany (remember that floating around a short while ago) and the dealer or non of his colleagues had seen it!!

Everyone on M3 forums etc expect around 420 bhp and 0-60mph in 4.7 ish, (just to beat RS4) chopped down version of M5 V10 engine, and SMG box.. so should be an M5 made small.. which is fine by me! V8 rumble will be good too...

I do drool when I hear about that (not Jay's van, the M3)... but in terms of practicality, I'd be looking for excuses to make it work. Opinion of Mrs S would be that I'd be disqualified (or dead) within weeks, but what does she know? Laughing
