I live in London N6, so I’m guessing NFU would not cover me? I’ll have to ask.

I might be as far out as a light house but I can’t see them saying no? Perhaps a higher than normal premium but unless you are living in down town Afghanistan I think you will be quoted. |

I found Landrover came up with a good price for me, been with them for a while with the D4 as well, and you get genuine Landrover screens every time MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

Having also been through the insurance renewal take, I concur that RRS's are listed the plague mary,'s of the insurance world, especially post mk1 face lift models.

One of the problems that means you have to call many of the discounters is the value of the car - they don’t want high value risks, they want to catch all the Ford Focuses and Vauxhall Insignias at less then £30,000 - the value of any Land Rover product now is so high and the cost to repair them costs so much that these guys treat them as special cases. Back in 1996 I changed from a Rover 216 to a Disco 1 V8i ES and after 15 years as a customer they refused to insure me in the Disco and the reason given then was that they didn’t cover vehicles with off road ability as they were too high a risk......... Interestingly I asked them for a quote for my new car which really has no offroad ability and they wanted £1800pa for a garaged Mini! Both Land Rover Insurance and NFU offered fully comp and protect NCB for £350 and NFU included offroad use if I wanted it as the car is 4WD - my postcode is also part of a farm according to NFU. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Wifes current X3 2.0D insurer (eSure) refused to insure an MY16 RRS - went to AA, matched eSure renewal for the X3 (£370) and quoted the RRS at £200 more...thought reasonable with an AL post code.
