Hi Guys,

LRO magazine is looking for a L320 Sport (any age from 2005 to 2012) to star in a photoshoot for an upcoming issue of the mag. The shoot will involve some light off-roading and will take place near Stamford/Peterborough on either Friday 9 Feb or Monday 12 Feb.

If you're interested in being involved and would love to see your Sport in LRO please post below.

i have a great example of a MY10 with full off road kit.. plus some.. have to do the shoot in Australia though  Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

These sort of articles in the LR magazines have long lasting effects. In 2005 or 2006 my Defender was featured on the front cover of LRM and was part of a big article by Bob Morrison about a Great Day Out that was run on some of the fantastic restricted access green lanes in the Lake District National Park. A group of 8 of us in assorted older Land Rovers travelled from all over the UK to meet at Sadgill and drive the Gatesgarth Pass from South to North under the watchful eyes of a LDNP ranger on a quad bike. Even some 13 years later I still get people asking me if mine was the Defender featured in many of the photos in the article! People have long memories.

Peter, we have a member of the forum who managed to find one of the Vesuvius Orange pre-production ex press fleet 1st Edition RRS’s - the one that was driven by Clarkson and Tiff Needell In Clarkson’s early days at Top Gear if you search in the General Section of the L320 bit of the forum. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
