I forgot to mention once the CTEK charger voltage gets to about 13.6-13.7 volts the DRLS are lit permanently. |

Presumably the DRL controller isn't very intelligent and just assumes high voltage means "engine running" so turns on the lights? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

You would think the ignition on wire would control whether the lights are on not voltage on the permanent supply. I think the ignition on wire is for cars where battery management systems operate and it tells the lights to go on irrespective of battery voltage which can drop down to 12.7v |
