I just cant make my mind up!

I have had my TDV8 for 2.5 years now and love it, it does everything I want it to and more, its a pleasure to drive and as yet has not let me down once in that time.......

The issue is that in that 30+ months it has done about 9k miles,2 car family, so I dont use it a great deal as at least 2k of those are week long holidays down to the west country. Its now done a little over 82k

Over that period its been serviced every 6 months either by myself or a specialist, had a full set of tyres (a month after I got it) which are still barely half worn! Had the gearbox oil changed, the diff oils done, lower arms done last year and the recent de-coke on the turbos. It still flies along and gives back mid to high 20's on consumption, more on a rare longer run! Both my regular indy and the guy that did the recent work comment on it being a nice example smooth etc etc etc.

With the recent issues I had with the turbo actuators being diagnosed as happening through lack of use and the small trips i do with it 75% of the time I cant help thinking I should move to something more happy with sitting on the drive for sometimes (in the summer as I also ride a motorcycle) 2 weeks at a time without turning a wheel.

If it goes it will be replaced with something along the lines of a 3 or 5 series touring or the equivalent from Audi/Mercedes etc. Basically something I can put a towbar on (for a push bike carrier) and I can get the wife and 2 kids in along with some cases for a trip to the airport or a visit west!

I feel one of the above will be happier with the mileage I do and cost less to sit there! after owning the RRS I dont think I could own any other SUV so dont see the point in looking at other SUV options out there!

I know what I should do, sell it and move on as its a waste.......I just need a push!

sell it, no point tying money up and it costing more and more
