Boot Illumination fixes?

Hey guys, the boot has only one small light on the right hand side, I have upgraded it to LED but it's still not bright enough, has anyone faced the same problem and installed any other lighting systems in order to brighten up the boot. Not looking to do anything fancy, just to keep it oem as possible but would like some ideas.

Well I did the rear reading light mod, to make it come on, (on the right side) which is good when the seats are down.

I'm not sure if that socket is permanently live, but you could plug it in when needed. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

If you have replaced the standard bulb with LED, then the load on the fuse for the light will be reduced.
When I had a P38 I added a LED strip and connected it into the circuit for the interior lights. I put it at the
top of the tailgate, so that the interior and fold down tailgate were illuminated. Rather than bright white,
which can be very sharp I used amber to give a glow. Also attracts less bugs Very Happy

Try one of these, I found it so bright I actually used a six led version in the end because it dazzled me when looking in the boot. It says glove box but same lamp as boot

Big thanks to Col very good upgrade and just what I was after 10x brighter now, I'll have to start wearing my Sunny's when I open the boot! Cool

That picture is of the 18 LED unit, worth it imo, for such a big boot im baffled as to why they didn't put a light in either side, also the back seats don't have a dome light which doesn't make sense either :/

Auto Bulbs Direct do a variety of LED bulb upgrades and worth looking at.
