hi..i would look through the posts for common problems on that model..and if i was worried and spending a lot of cash then getting rac/aa to check it out would be good i guess.

These are different beasts you could get a rac or aa check but if you could find an indy to look at it then they have a good

I had my gearbox power flushed as soon as I bought my car (2005 TDV6 HSE). The fluid they pumped out was very dirty so I felt it was well worth doing. Another advantage (according to the guy who flushed it) is that they reset the gearbox so it learned your driving style. The box has worked perfectly since.
