Ok so today i tried to have the alignment sorted on my RRS 2010 3.0TDV6 but due to wear on the lower arms (both bushes) and the sized rear bolts. they couldn't do it spending nearly two hours on the front alone.

if you have access to a ramp and tools then have a crack on the drive could be difficult as if any of the bolts are rusted in then they would need to be cut out some people have even cut the old arm to get it off hence replacing the whole arm can be quicker |

Super pro are in my opinion better as they are not as harsh as poly bush |

About to have this done on my 2011 under warranty and they are replacing the arms as the labour cost to change the bushes would come out almost same price. If its your vehicle i.e. not on finance/PCP then Poly may be an option but TBH I would stick with OEM |

I changed mine for poly bush, and did them on my drive. Although I am pleased with them it would have been far far easier on a ramp. But would I do it again, No if I did the job again I would just replace the whole arm, to make my job worse 3 months later one of the lower ball joints went. With a new arm this would have been new too as they come already fitted. Front arms are solid now, but still have a knock through the steering, ARB bushes next when the weather warms up I think. |
