I haven’t changed yet - my PCP ends in April, I was going to keep my current car and pay for extended warranty but as the snapping crankshaft is not covered I have decided not to buy another new Land Rover product and downsize to a Mini Countryman - if LR would assure me that my car would be covered in the event of a crankshaft failurevthen I wouldn’t hesitate to keep the car as it has run perfectly, but as I am retiring soon the hit of the cost of a new engine would be beyond my means.

I agree with you all. LR also, if you remember, initially produced Evoque with 2 Coupes for every 5 door that initially went down the line they were so confident that the Coupe would be more popular. 5 door Evoques way outnumber Coupes even though IMHO the Coupe looks better and is no smaller inside than the 5 door, just more awkward to get into and more expensive again after several years of the two cars being the same price! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

my first evoque was a 2 door, the roof line was lower in the rear and awkward as hell to get in the back with high heels after a few lemonades! I went 5 door with the second one. They were super rare around here, no one had a 2 door. 2012 Evoque 2014 Sport Autobiography 2015 SVR for the fun stuff 2016 Evoque SI4 Dynamic Lux for the daily drive 2016 Defender 90 2018 SVR |

Yes my first one was a launch day Coupe with all the trimmings except the spare wheel and smoker’s pack, 2nd one was a 5 door which, while it was more user friendly, I didn’t like as much, don’t know why but I felt the Coupe was more suited to my circumstances - 99% of my driving is with only me in the car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The original Range Rover was a 2 door which didn't do Land Rover much harm as it started the global luxury 4x4 thing. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute. |
