CTEK Comfort connector

Has anyone fitted a CTEK comfort connector Indicator panel. I want to fit it at the front of the car, somewhere unobtrusive but easily accessed. Looks like I may have to make up a bracket to hold it unless someone who has done it can give me some pointers. Image enclosed. Thanks

I think someone fitted one in the side vent.

Personally I like fitting the indicator flying lead in the boot, as this does no damage and is cheap

Got mine under the bonnet, next to the battery. Just be careful it doesn't hit the fbh exhaust. Since I replaced the battery in February last year, I've not needed to use it, even when leaving the car parked up for a fortnight.

I fitted the other style of Comfort Connector, just tucked under the back edge of the bonnet, that way don't have to flip the bonnet or unlock the car to plug it in or unplug it, and just tuck's away out of site when not required.

Col, Thanks for that, do you have any pictures of the connector in place.
On another matter, I was looking at your gallery pics & you have one of 28 Dec 2017 showing a part highlighted in red. Is this a soft rubber piece that sits on the top of the wing as both of mine (one each side) have ripped. If so do you know the part numbers. I have a 2014 Sport. How does it attach?

Hi,

Part No. of those bit's are L/H LR084527 and R/H LR084528 not sure how they attaché but knowing L/R just probably double sided tape, if you do replace them might pay to use a good silicone adhesive as well as apparently the tend to fall off.

There are a couple of pic's 9 11 & 12 in my gallery of the ctek comfort plug, but I see you have a RRS2 so not sure you can fit it in the same way.

I`d have to use an extension to use my Ctek...probably not the best idea with all the rain Steve.
