Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Siberian Silver
Fault code c1A00

Hi I have fault c1A00 -control module as a permanent fault in the abs system ! No faults on dash just off diagnostics any help

Could be I cleared faults didn't check if it did clear can check tomorrow ,when applying the hand brake it makes a loud sqwelling noise could it be related ?

That code relates to Terrain Response Switchpack.

The terrain response
switchpack has
indicated a
calibration/parameter
memory failure for
embedded systems.

sounds to me like your handbrake control module isn't working! if it makes a loud screech noise im afraid. That fault code is the same one a diagnostics machine gave me when my handbrake wasn't working, but it turned out in my case it was broken wires going to the switch... however your symptoms point towards the module itself with the loud noise.
