Had to cancel the order with Lex as they will not support "in control Apps' or 'In Car Connect' services in general. Placed the order with local dealer who has matched contract hire terms. Silly thing is that it is Lex that finance Land Rover Contract Hire

I see in today’s Autocar magazine that they indicate sales of the RRS and FFRR PHEVs will start in February.
I Strongly recommend that you have a test drive in a Mini Countryman PHEV, they do 48 hour test drives and I have one on test at the moment for 72 hours and mightily impressed so far. Really makes you wonder why you should spend so much on the RRS PHEV. The only thing going for the RRS is it can go further off road than the Countryman, but that is not something that many RRS owners will ever worry about, most don’t even know what the low range gears are for.......  2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've just sold a house and the money is burning a hole in my pocket but I have worked too hard to gamble it on another load of dealer/QC/reliability issues

My dealer is telling me that if I order a PHEV RRS now I'll get it in late March - is that a lie?

Possible, but April seems more realistic. I ordered on launch day and get it April/May as the SVO colour causes 2-4 weeks delay.

I see in the motoring press that discounts are already available on the RRS PHEV, starting at 6% which is £4450 discount on a car that hasn’t yet hit the streets.......... not good news for residual values if they are being sold at a discount before sales start........ UK discounter Carfile is advertising them in HSE Spec at this discounted price. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Carfile has an ad in the latest What Car? Magazine with this deal on it. I get the electronic version of the magazine which shows it on page 97, I don’t know if the hard copy has the same page numbering. Carfile has been one of the brokers dealing with What Car?
