I hope the A380 engines are more reliable than the 3.0L diesel and not made by JLR! RRS (MY13) Santorini Black SDV6 HSE luxuary

Last time I flew to NZ went via Singapore on one of Singapore Airlines A380's no problems, although I didn't think there cabin staff were up to there usual standards. From Singapore to Auckland, on Air New Zealand Dreamliner the planes first flight and it broke down, fortunately while it was still on the ground something to do with the wing flaps, so managed a expenses paid stay in Singapore have to admit found NZ cabin staff nicer than Singapore Airlines not quite so sort of formal.

Whilst not being particularly keen on BA business class their First Class is excellent and is often priced very competitively. Always worth comparing the price of this with business on other airlines.

Last trip for me was direct to London from Sydney and we flew BA business which was on the smaller 777. On the return we flew BA 380 and to be honest wasn't any better than the 777 IMO. The 380 on BA was a disappointment for me had the same lie flat beds as the 777 and no more room. I choose an airline based on crew competency, price and experience . I would not fly with some carriers no matter how good the cabin is. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Thanks for all the info/ advice on this topic. I’ve just got back from Straya with no jet lag at either end. Would absolutely recommend! Noisy black one |

Just got back from another Sydney trip with Emirates economy. I'm getting the hang of that 14 hour leg now and whilst it is not the most comfortable I've ever been, its not bad either.
