Warrant Direct renewal time again

Has anyone had recent experience with WD? My premium last year was £752 for 13 months. This year they wanted £864, which after calling reduced to £790, but this is only for 12 months as they no longer offer 13 month policies. This would be my fourth year with them, with so far zero claims. I thought a 14% rise excessive.
Cover is for the LuxuryCare Upgrade, up to £72 per hour incl VAT labour rate, with emissions, airbag, ICE and SatNav covered.
Car is 2012 MY RRS diesel, 70k miles.
Thanks
Chris

If they are guaranteeing Genuine LR parts and repairs are at an LR approved repair shop then you have a bargain at £72 ph for labour - i doubt that there is an LR dealership in the land that charges less £100 per +VAT 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The stipulation is the garage must be VAT registered. I have two very good local independent garages which should come within that figure.

Sounds a little expensive to me, i'm paying £600 a year with £72/hr but I cant remember the details about which options i went for. i'm pretty sure mot failures are covered, as are emissions, cant remember the rest. mine's a 2012 SDV6 AB, 70000 miles.

They cover crankshaft breakages too.

i have yet to make a claim. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

My post here http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic49526.html Re the Autogroup may help with your decision. Not WD I know but as a comparison...?

Perhaps get a quote from them to compare cost, and perhaps more importantly cover.

If you would like me to post the full cover and exclusions pages, please let me know. Robin

In March I paid about £680 renewal (after hagglin’) for my 6 year old TDV6 3.0 (30k miles) with the £200 labour option plus suspension cover included. I pay in 4 quarterly payments. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!
