Hi,
I had 55% aspect ratio tyres, they give you another 5% of the 255 tyres width as side wall height Thumbs Up

In theory as more side wall = softer ride but doubt you will feel any difference between the 2 sizes
more side wall = more ground clearance (12mm ish mind) that may not be much, but if there is a lump of ice in front of you on the road it could be all you need to avoid damage to the front valance.

if you go for 55% they may have more appeal if you sell them as fit D3 and D4

Thumbs Up Porsche Cayenne 2022

I ran my last TDv8 on Pirelli Ice and Snow tyres in the winter and they were amazing. I had to refit them in July 2009 for a trip south after being forced off the road by a lunatic motor cyclist who would have gone to meet his maker had I not pulled onto the verge at 60mph and hit a concrete culvert that smashed both near side alloys ( fortunately only 5 miles from home) 24 hours before I was setting out for a run to London. We had horrendous rain most of the drive south and the Ice and Snow tyres were brilliant in standing water on the M6 too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
