Hi all does a 2008 RRS need programing for the towing electrics 12n and 12s socket type. Mates asked me to fit it for him but I seem to remember the car needs to be told that it has them.

Hi Peter..

I have a 58-plate HST and fitted twin-socket electrics and nothing needed to be programmed.

Took about an hour to fit, in the dark (iPhone for a torch!). Hardest part for me was getting around the HST box tailpipes!

No programming required if you use a genuine wiring harness. 07MY RRS TDV6
