It’s difficult to say. I would guess at Velocity as in the bright light it looks ever so slightly lighter and the reflection is more speckled. For the reasons why none of us can tell for sure AND the fact that Estoril is SVR only, the SVR halo colour, and Velocity can be had on any JLR car, why would you?

Absolutely if i was going Blue Estoril it would be! SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

More importantly, I noticed that MY18 gets 4 “curry takeaway bag” hooks Wink

As a born and bred Brummie, I recall the first time Top Gear reviewed the RRS. Think it may have been Tiff and he said something along the lines of.....Brummies love their Indian takeaways and of course you don't want it sploshing around the footwell, so the RRS comes with a "curry hook"

Thing is, I don't even let anybody eat anything in my car. Water and beer (because that's what the fridge is for) only!

Way back earlier than 80% of you can remember in the 1990’s, LR used the Curry Hook as a selling point for the Discovery 2! They hyped it up in the adverts and dealers made sure to point it out in the front passenger footwell just in case you weren’t aware of it from the ads! I don’t remember ever having used it for it’s intended purpose as like Jas I try not to carry takeaways in my cars as they make the inside stink for days afterwards - I use a cheap insulated picnic bag that contains any spillage and has a zip top so the smell doesn’t escape - it also hooks into the shopping bag holders in the boot of the Sport nicely. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, you are right. And I think it may have been that dull Godfey fella and not Tiff who was road testing it!

That’s the guy, I remember when he was a presenter on Top Gear long before JC even joined the team and he condemned the then new VM diesel powered Classic Rangie by getting out of it with the engine running and pressed the throttle down while walking beside the car.......... strange how the Diesel Rangie wentbon to be a best seller and he disappeared into obscurity - Chris Goffey I think was his name, he and Sue Barker were the TG presenters back then and Tiff was the then equivalent of the The Stig....
More trivia - the car featured in that Top Gear belongs to a member of the forum and is still in daily use. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just watched the video from the LA Motor Show again that SVR575 put on here because I am still toying with ordering mine with the Carbon Exterior (but not the bonnet) and noticed the finish on the seat (at 3 mins 50 seconds). The only factory problem I had with my MY15 5.0L was the leather on one of the seats. It wasn’t as bad as the one in the video though Rolling Eyes

As for the small carbon pack i think i will get some of the bits myself, i have already got the mirrors and a member here is helping me source other bits. Thumbs Up SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

I see what remains of the gloss black exterior trim is already marked, it's an absolute nightmare! Prefer the old gloss black wheels. Like the exterior carbon minus the bonnet. Interior a step up and ventilated seats option definitely a plus too. 21's as standard now is just robbery...

Interesting new Bonnet layout with the racing style air vents. A move away from the Snorkel type system of the MY15. Wonder if that gives more space in the engine bay?

I also noticed the 2 extra boot hooks. I love my 2 hooks - saves the shopping bouncing around the cavernous boot space on many occasions.

When the chap opened up the cup holder sliding lid - I saw 2 metal plates at the bottom. Does that mean these cup holders can do heat/cooling? that would be 'cool' Wink SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh

One of them (or maybe both) could be the optional inductive plate for phone charging or have the built in Apple Lightening connector for charging 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
