Hello all, i'm here looking for some advice. I have a MY10 sport, and the lumbar support and seat bolsters don't seem to do much when i use the switch on the side of the seat. I can certainly hear something trying to work, possibly a motor, but nothing seems to move!

Had a look around under the seat and checked the fuse, however everything seems ok.

Anyone come across this before?

1. There is a leak in the tube or bladder

2. It's working but you don't realise it.

Sit in the seat, resting backwards.

Pump it up for a few seconds.
THen press the other release button, you should hear air escaping and notice the support on your lower back reduce.

If air doesn't escape I think there is a leak.

Do the same with the passenger seat

I don't notice any loss of air, or any sound of air escaping when i press the release switch.

Also, i went to compare it to the passenger side and it doesn't have the switches for the bolsters and the lumbar support is a manual dial on the side of the backrest. Maybe there is a leak somewhere that's simply not inflating the support?

On jags you can take the back of the seat off to expose the pump and bladder

But unless you feel discomfort or have back problems it might not be worth the hassle.
